I am so far behind on my blog posts, so I hope you’ll forgive me for back-dating quite a few. For ten years, this blog has been my little corner of the internet. I hope I can look back at so many more memories in another ten years! Halloween 2021. Not a holiday we typically celebrate, but I definitely couldn’t resist putting Ophelia in a costume. This pumpkin outfit was actually a gift from my parents. Chosen by my dad, it’s just the most gorgeous thing on her!
Ophelia is just two and a half months old in these photos. Propped up against the pumpkins and a table cloth. I actually don’t know how we had her sitting so well when she was so young!
It started pouring halfway through the photos, but it was a warm day, so we popped up umbrellas to protect O and the set and carried on once the rain stopped. We were also all at the tail end of having covid. What a strange time!
The one laughing photo is Ophelia cracking up at Oscar. Who insisted on sitting right in front of the lens and sits in your lap if the attention isn’t on him for a second! If there’s anything that will guarantee a laugh with her, it’s Oscar being silly! She was laughing for a good minute, but Oscar wouldn’t get out of the way for me to get a clear shot. So the giggling one is the only one we have where she even slightly looks as though she’s having a good time!
She looks so fed up in the other half of these photos. It brings a smile to my face knowing it was just a tiny glimpse into the cheeky little smiley lady she’s becoming! I can’t wait to document Halloween for many years to come alongside many more costumes!
