This post is called Cozy Hugs in Autumn because that’s exactly what this jumper is called. By Odd Molly, this beautiful orange knit made of Mohair and Marino Wool is possibly my favourite thing in my wardrobe this autumn. The brand very kindly got in touch with me and offered to send me a piece from their latest knitwear collection. As always, I wasn’t under any obligation to post about the piece. But, since I’ve worn it for five days on the trot, I thought it was worth sharing with you.
Odd Molly was founded in 2002 and proudly heralds from Sweden. Molly is an unconventional, brave woman who follows her heart in everything she does. She lived a bohemian life, skating the pavements of Venice Beach in the 80’s, wearing natural materials and beautiful patterns in high quality handmade details and colours. She is the symbol of what Odd Molly represents, wanting each woman to be her best self!
I adore the message of Odd Molly, and one glance through the models wearing their clothes on the website reinforces their story and truth. This is the type of brand that we need more of at the moment. With a distinctive design concept in each piece they produce, the garments are high quality and have a long lifespan to put Odd Molly at the forefront of sustainability. I’ve linked a few of my favourite pieces by the brand below.
My autumn uniform has quickly become a pair of high waisted black jeans, over the knee boots and knitwear. This turtleneck knit is the perfect piece to top off that outfit. This classic piece fits perfectly into any wardrobe and with such a beautiful and girly design, it won’t date either. Its loose form skims over the stomach and flatters the figure. While the material promises to keep you warm when the temperature gage takes an inevitable downturn.
Autumn colours are some of my favourites. Probably because as quickly as the colours appear, the leaves drop and autumn is over for another year. The momentary magic of a transitional season, paired with stunning knitwear that should see you through many more.
