A spritz of fragrance is one thing I like to make sure I have on before I leave the house. Last spring, I posted my favourite spring fragrances. My collection has since grown rather large, so once again I thought I would share some of my favourites with you.
I have so many this summer, that I’ve split them into two; day and night. These are my current favourite day fragrances and they literally ooze summer!
So, without further adieu and in no particular order…
My new every day summer fragrance. This scent is my finishing touch before I leave the house every morning. It wakes me up and puts a smile on my face, so I’m gutted that it’s only a limited edition. I love the colour and shape of the bottle and the power it has over the more delicate fragrance blend of its interior liquid; blackcurrent sorbet, passion flower and raspberry. Even more interestingly, this was actually the perfume I wore on my wedding day!
Now this perfume, I wasn’t immediately enamoured with. But after a couple of spritzes, it grew on me. The colour of the bottle is the colour of the sea in Portofino, the scent ; strong yet crisp citrus oils, florals and amber undertones. This fragrance was made to be worn on the Italian Riviera or anywhere in Europe, but it must be worn on the sea drifting lazily on a warm breeze above a rowing boat.
The most deliciously tropical fragrance, this is perfect for a Carribean getaway. The luxurious coral glass bottle is topped with a glistening gold cap and stamped with the infamous Kors logo. The scent is filled with memories of smells from white sand destinations mixed tenderly with the brightest of flowers and notes of grapefruit, sweet raspberry and sandalwood. This is the fragrance I’ll be taking on honeymoon with me.
A super sweet fragrance, this is perfect for a shopping date with the girls followed by lunch and cocktails at a roof top bar. With scents like raspberry pulp, sweet pea and candied amber, it’s ridiculously girly and the perfect scent to keep in your handbag to refresh throughout the day. I love the design of this bottle too, it’s almost so pretty you’d put a chain through it and wear it around your neck like a piece of Juicy jewellery!
Another easy to wear every day fragrance. The citrus comes through undeniably straight away through the scent, but interestingly, there are actually no citrus notes in the fragrance. Instead you have Cassis, Black Grape, Pineapple and Passionfruit which create a wonderfully light fragrance, not at all overpowering and mouthwateringly delicious!
Do you have any fragrances that have already captured your memories of summer?
