Devon is one of the most beautiful places in England. Every time I go home, I fall just a little bit more in love with it.
There are so many incredible coastlines, moors and little villages to explore. We went to visit my parents a few weekends ago and decided to stop by the little coastal town of Sidmouth. A town that has seen me through many a night out at Carinas with the girls, followed by chips along the sea front in the moonlight listening to the waves lapping the shoreline.
The weekend was spent doing lots of admin for the wedding. As the date draws nearer, we’re getting down to the final details to try and realise our dream day. It was filled with checking off the guest list, talking about flowers and flattening fields with huge tractors and rollers then marking out the size of the marquee with bamboo sticks in the garden.
I honestly can’t imagine getting married anywhere else. Look how beautiful this place is! Patchwork fields that stop dead and plunge into the sea along the Jurassic Coast, in the richest of reddy browns.
It’s a real life wonderland.
