Autumn Leather

Most people say that they start to dress better in autumn/winter because they get to layer up. But for me, I find it a bit harder. The roads get slippery, so it’s tricky to wear heels and not many winter boots have wedges so my feet get super sore, really quickly. Add to that, the fact that I’m a naturally warm person and winter weather plus London travel and millions of items of clothing is a nightmare.

This year, I’ve discovered roll neck tops and I’m now pretty obsessed. Since I bought this one from Zara, I’ve worn it so much it now has bobbles all over – and I bought it two weeks ago! Perhaps thats a nod to a slightly poorer quality garment from Zara, or I didn’t look as close at the washing instructions as I should have! Either way, roll necks are going to be one of my definitive statements this season.

Vitstyle very kindly sent me this stunning marble jewellery which worked so well with this outfit. The total outfit has been worn probably three times since I bought it already and I think I might even wear it again today…

Each season, my first trip is to Zara to stock up on my basics. T shirts for summer and long sleeves for winter. This leather skirt will probably appear in my winter wardrobe a few times in the form of lots of different colours. The fit is perfect, which is extremely rare for my body shape.
