Playing Angel at St. Paul’s

I’ve mentioned a few times that white is my colour for summer. So when I received an email from the lovely team at Miss Selfridge, asking how I’d style up one of their Day Dresses for summer, I had to choose this stunning white dress.

The Miss Selfridge designers have got it so right with their dresses this season and their Jumpsuits for that matter. I fell in love with this stunning Jumpsuit too, but had to take it back after coming to the realisation that I wouldn’t  be able to zip it up myself!

This dress on the hanger looks nothing special and (dare I say it) almost frumpy. It’s only when it’s worn that it really comes into its own.

The organza fabric is stitched together with an intricate and beautiful lace, nipping in at the waist and skimming over the knees. It produces such an elegant and flattering look that is perfect for all the season’s summer parties.

I decided to wear this gorgeous dress to afternoon tea with my family and Gentleman, in St. Paul’s, to celebrate my Dad’s birthday. It was the perfect setting to shoot this angelic dress.
