Valentines day is a truly overwhelming time of year for any of us, whether we love it or hate it. The pressure to not let your partner down, without breaking the bank is a lot for anyone to deal with, but what if I told you I have a solution to take the pressure off and to help you get everything you need under one roof.
This year, Tesco have you covered.
Yes my friends. This year, Tesco are your go-to for beautiful flowers and all the extras that you’ll need to make your partner feel extra special. I’ve been buying my fortnightly bouquets from Tesco for years now, so I’m really excited to be working with them this Valentines Day and hope I can help you effortlessly surprise your loved ones! Flowers are flowers at the end of the day. It is the thought and the quality of the blooms that us ladies (and gents) truly care about.
Tesco truly have some of the best Roses I’ve seen on the market this year with the most incredible quality. You can even order them online to arrive via post with your Valentine in time for the big day on Tuesday. If however, you happen to be single this year, why not send yourself some flowers or even send them to your bestie to remind them how much they mean to you! Valentines day is definitely not just reserved for couples!
I received the dozen red roses. Perfect velvety deep red petals on the straightest green stems with strong bulbs, the freshest of blooms. You can always tell if a rose is fresh by very gently squeezing the bulbs (something I learnt from my Wedding Florist) if it’s soft it’s coming to the end of it’s life span, but if it’s hard and doesn’t give much, it’s still very fresh.
Choose some of the other bouquets and they may come with a free vase or chocolates. Of course, if you truly want to make a statement, how about 100 perfect red roses – at just £70, these are the best value I’ve found! If you know your Valentine isn’t the typical ‘red roses’ type, there are so many other bouquets to choose from to help your bunch feel a little more personal. How about Lilies? Pink Roses? Tulips? Or even a rainbow bouquet!
Sometimes, it’s the simpler things that are better on Valentines day. After all, it’s all about spending time with those you love. This year, I think Ben and I are going to stay in and cook a meal together then set up the table and eat there, instead of at the sofa (terrible habit that we have).
What are your plans for Valentines Day?
